We are currently seeking a full-time Licensed/Qualified Mental Health Professional to join our team at Chillicothe Correctional Center located in Chillicothe, Missouri.
The LPC/LCSW Licensed - Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) provides mental health services to patients in a correctional setting to provide comprehensive mental health care, including intake and assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning, consulting with a multi-disciplinary team, and providing individual and group therapy.
Qualifications:
The LPC/LCSW Licensed - Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) provides mental health services to patients in a correctional setting to provide comprehensive mental health care, including intake and assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning, consulting with a multi-disciplinary team, and providing individual and group therapy.
Qualifications:
- Master's level degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field from an accredited educational institution required.
- Active mental health professional license in Missouri: Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor (P-LPC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) required.
- Must show current CPR and Basic Life Support certification.
- Two years’ experience with direct care for individuals with mental illness preferred.
- Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.
Available Shift:
- Monday-Friday, Days, 8:00am-4:30pm.
- On-call rotation with stipend.
